The East End Warriors Juniors started the game on defense vs the Hikes Point Lobos at Des Pres Park on Saturday, August 8th. The Lobos had no problem charging right down the field against the Warriors "Hard Work" defense and adding the conversion for a 7-0 lead. However, the Warriors would even the score at 7-7 on their first possession of the game, and not look back! Fourth down stops, a 91 yard TD run, great kickoff returns, running backs that know how to move and break tackles, and costly penalties made by the Lobos helped elevate the Warriors to a 33-13 victory over the Lobos. Let's not forget the Center (Drew) lining up at Tight-End and pulling in the extra point conversion catch to go-ahead 27-7 late in the game.
