On April 2nd, 2017 in the Battle of the Bluegrass, the University of Louisville Men's Lacrosse team defeated Western Kentucky University 15-4 in route to the hardware.
After being scored on very quickly and trailing to the Hilltoppers 0-1, the Cardinals ended the game with a 15-4 victory.
