The Cougars took the field and opened up the game with a 2-0 lead thanks to some good defense and quick scoring opportunities.
However, the Lions would fight back! The score at the half was Cougars 3 - Lions 2.
The Cougars were down one person in the third quarter and the Lions took complete advantage of it!
Trailing by the score of 4-5, the Cougars scored to tie the game at 5-5 with only forty-five seconds to play.
The Cougars defense would then force the Lions to pass the ball back into their own territory and the game-winning goal would be scored by a Lion attempting to clear the ball, but landing it in the goal for the Cougars.
