The Bearcats scored 22 runs in the 1st inning vs the Doss Dragons, who kept adding multiple errors and poor throws to their chart.
The 2nd inning wasn't much better, as the Bearcats increased their lead to 34-3 before the Dragons were able to get three outs against them. The Dragons were on their 5th pitcher by the end of the 2nd inning. At the 30-3 mark, the KCD coaching staff was only allowing players to go to 1st base after recording a hit. Multiple doubles and triples were only recorded as singles as KCD did all they could to not run up the score any higher on Doss.
After 4 1/2 innings, the KCD Bearcats improved to their record to 3-3 by the score of 41-3. A score that could have been much greater than that. The Doss Dragons remained winless at 0-7.
