Louisville Male 0 - duPont Manual 5

On the evening of Wednesday, September 9th, 2015 the Louisville Male High School Bulldogs took to the field against the duPont Manual High School Crimsons in the oldest rivalry in the state of Kentucky.  The winless Bulldogs looked to add their first win of the 2015 season by beating their rivals.  However, the Bulldog offense was nowhere to be found.  Having only 1 shot on goal (coming from mid-field) at the half, and trailing by the score of 0-3, the Crimsons could already smell victory.  Injuries, poor communication, and a lack of willpower in the second half by the Bulldogs led to the Crimsons 5-0 victory over the Bulldogs.

Louisville Male High School remains winless in varsity soccer and looks to add their injured players back to their roster soon in hopes of gaining a victory for the 2015 season.  I spoke with Bulldogs GK #14 Will Seewer prior to the start of the game:

MCW:  "How has this team not won a game?  Is it the offense, the defense, the goalkeeper...?"
Will: "It's a team sport.  When we lose it's all of our fault."

MCW: "But, don't you paly to win? It has to be discouraging."
Will: "I don't think it's all about the win, I think it's about coming out here, building ourselves, and applying it as we develop."

MCW: "So, am I going to see a win here this evening?"
Will: "I don't know.  I guess you'll find out."

MCW: "Who's the starting goalkeeper?"
Will: "I don't know yet."

MCW: "Will, it's three minutes before kickoff, and you don't know who the starting keeper is?"
Will: "They might know, but as for us, we have no idea."
MCW: "Good luck tonight Will."
