Goose Creek Bridge Collapses in Louisville, Kentucky

4:45 PM

The bridge over Goose Creek on Brownsboro Road in Louisville, Kentucky near The Woods of St. Thomas neighborhood, gave way and sank into the creek below on the afternoon of April 3rd, 2015.  Extremely heavy rains are the main known cause for this occurrence.  However, you can clearly see where the road was cracking near the edge, which most likely played a key part in a portion of the bridge sinking to the bottom of Goose Creek.
